Story - A Second Opinion

Game Date: 7/17/2006
Location: San Francisco, California

Who: Eon (Lazarus)

To: Dr. Miranda Saveda
From: Judah Ambrose
Subject: Psychiatric Inquiry: July 18, 2006

Post Action Report: July 18, 2006

After the conflict of a couple of days ago, I seek out your advice Dr. Miranda Saveda.

Since I am one of the few beings on the planet with over 5000 years of history my perspective is probably unique.

Nevertheless my hasty jump to violence in the altercation with the paranormals leads me to believe I may have a more serious issue than I thought.

Just prior to the attack we were summoned to handle a disturbance with the site visitors. Arriving on the scene I saw the group providing significant resistance to the park rangers and determined I should assist. At that moment something in me changed and I found myself attacking one of the civilians, out of rage, I believe. I later convinced myself I was attempting to intimidate the crowd into acquiescing to our instructions but now reflecting on the moment that was not my true motivation.

This pattern of uncontrolled rage emerged again when confronted with a paranormal that had me dead to rights and instead of taking cover I charged the man with only rage in my mind. My colleague, Prime, has since told me I screamed at the man to hit me as I charged him.

These events and my reaction to them have left me troubled and introspective as to my current mental state.

I recently encountered a previously unknown side effect of my healing powers when I was subjected to a barrage of other people's memories while healing a catatonic brain damaged patient. This patient was under the treatment of a new drug therapy and appeared fine except for the blunt trauma to the cranium. I healed the injury but suffered intense waves of memories and emotions afterward.

In addition to the above incidents, I have also been experimenting with sleep. Although I do not require it, I often find it useful to pass the time. Recently, I have experienced episodes of severely disturbing nightmares. If this is related, it might be useful for you to know that I track these in a journal that you may reference.

I seek your assistance in the investigation of my situation Doctor. Please tell me if there is anything else I can provide you.
