Story - The Long Walk From Home

Game Date: 7/24/2006
Location: San Francisco, California

Who: Eon (Lazarus)

Judah sits up in his bed looking at walls of his room, at least he thinks it is his room. Looking around at the various paintings he strains to recall something of the memories that inspired them. Seeing little to nothing he shakes his head in despair.

Rising up he walks over to the closet and dons his black trench coat and hat. Walking to the door he pauses for a second looking back at the empty room. Sealing the door behind him he heads to the main operations room.

Judah walks over to the staff and asks "Is there some paper and a pen I could leave a note with please?"

The young man nervously hands the pad to Judah.

"Thank you." Judah nods.

On the pad he writes a message:

To my Wardens,

I am writing this because I have reached an impasse and no longer know what I am doing here. My powers have begun to act strangely and it appears they might even be failing. Additionally, my mental state is in a far more precarious state than this. I almost used my abilities to harm an innocent the other day and am at loss as to why. My memories are all but fragments of what I once knew. I will be spending a few days in the city at the local coffee shop and walking about.

If you need to know more, I suggest you speak with the Doctors Miller and Saveda.

If you need to contact me feel free to use the communicator.

Farewell my team for now.

He seals the note in an envelope and simply puts on the front "Read Me."

He hands the note to the guard, "Please see that one of the Wardens gets this. Thank you. Also please see that my room is sealed. I do not wish it to be disturbed. Thank you."

On the counter he places his Wardens id and one of his medallions.

He nods, slowly turns and walks to the door. Reaching the landing area he boards a launch with the tourists headed back to the city and looks back at his home.
