Post-Session: 48

A look at what happened during and/or after Session 48.

Story - New Orleans Aftermath

Game Date: 8/5/2007

Who: Amber (II), Amethyst (II), Dot Dash, Eon (Lazarus), Indigo, Karex

The team discusses what to do with Roi and Escarlate.

Karex suggests that the prisoners would be ideal subjects for rehabilitation efforts.

"Clearly, the oppression they suffered from the general populace due to their non-standard appearance has caused them to begin developing anti-social behavioral tendencies. Relocating them to Alcatraz, where they can be among sentient beings who share a non-standard appearance would be an excellent first step to readjusting their behavior into more productive venues. In fact, the amphibious nature of the two of them and their compatriots indicate that they could prove highly useful in safeguarding California's coast line by monitoring for illegal pollution and other societal ills."

Eon says they should interrogate them to learn what part they played and what knowledge of they had of Boost and Delta Vee's whereabouts. He states that incarceration is a must, not community service, that way they could be studied in a controlled environment to learn about their abilities and limitations. He concludes by saying that these beings, for lack of a better term, are far, far too dangerous to have in an uncontrolled environment.

Amber asks Dot Dash, "Please pass the butter, my popcorn is dry."

Before turning them over to the authorities, Eon questions Roi and Escarlate about what part they played in the disappearance and/or what knowledge they had of Boost and Delta-Vee's whereabouts.

Roi replies that you ask about two people, he knows of only one. He says he was called by Matthieu, the guy in the shed, to talk about a 'special' boy. Matthieu said the boy was gifted and he might be of some use to Roi and his followers. The meeting at the shack was the first time he had ever seen the boy.

The girl says that she knows nothing other than there was to be a meeting at the shed to talk about a boy. She was outside the whole time and never saw the boy until after the combat.

After satisfying themselves that Roi and Escarlate are telling all they know, the Wardens turn the prisoners over to the FSS.

While the prisoners are being processed, Karex has a private discussion with the 'King' of the Reptiloids.

Karex says that he has also encountered a tribe of sentient dolphins and that since the Earth has at least two sentient species, then logically its resources should be divided equitably between them. However, due to their physical limitations, the Dolphins need beings such as themselves to serve as their toll collectors, diplomats, trade negotiators and such. What would, no doubt be a very lucrative profession. He will also note that Dolphins are very photogenic and it would be easy to enlist large numbers of human donors to help fund an effort to get them recognized as sentient and that, as is customary, a portion of such proceeds would go to administrative expenses of the individuals handling such an effort.
