Downtime Log

Area and Group Notes

8/28/2005 - In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina a rotation system is setup between the Wardens and the Wardens Reserve so that a duty team covers San Francisco while a disaster team helps with the recovery efforts in the New Orleans area. The disaster team members work closely with the authorities and Nostra Pietatis to help keep order and bolster the relief efforts in the stricken areas. While back in San Francisco each member of the duty team does what they can to try and find clues to the fate of or signs of the missing Knight of St. Michael. As it becomes clearer and clearer that the Knight is gone, possibly even dead, each of the Wardens finds his or her own way to memorialize their fallen teammate. The trips to Louisiana become more poignant for those on disaster team rotation as they lend their assistance in helping the people of the Knight's home.

8/28/2005 - Asenblut and Vanenspeer do their part to help the Wardens by patrolling San Francisco with the duty team.

9/12/2005 - Story - E-mails: Next of Kin - The Knight - Amethyst (II), Delta-Vee

Karalyn Nicholas, a.k.a. Amethyst (II)

8/28/2005 - Karalyn is very busy in her off time as negotiations as to the fate of the der Kampfkoloss, die Kampfmaschine, Kriegstochter, Panzer, der Grüne Ritter and Jagdpanzer get underway. The talks involve the FSS legal staff representing the US Justice Department, an Orion tribunal representing the international community and Karalyn, Karl, Käthe and Dieter Mastriani, a representative from the Alta Verde council, representing the defendants. It is quite clear from the outset that the process is going to be long and drawn out.

8/28/2005 - The physical exertion from helping the disaster team on her trips to Louisiana and Mississippi gives Amethyst some relief from all the stress of the legal wrangling. She also makes sure that everyone is working out and practicing with their abilities on a daily basis. Amethyst also leads weekly Saturday training sessions with whichever team she is with at the time.

Randy McLeod, a.k.a. Delta-Vee

8/28/2005 - Delta-Vee lends a hand to both the duty team and the disaster team. He takes some time while in New Orleans to try and find any leads on Mark's disappearance but with all of the disruption to normal life in the city he searches come up empty for the most part. Delta-Vee has some issues with his powers in both New Orleans and San Francisco but excuses the problems when he realizes that he had missed his medication before some of the episodes.

10/19/2005 - Just before Thanksgiving, Randy tells Amethyst that he is going out of town for the holidays to visit his family and would be back in time for the tenth anniversary ceremony.

Judah Ambrose, a.k.a. Eon (Lazarus)

9/20/2005 - Story - Time to Make a Difference

William Rouen, a.k.a. Knight of Saint Michael

8/27/2005 - Story - A Matter of Balance

Kore Moorland, a.k.a. Miss Majestic

8/28/2005 - Kore spends her free time in San Francisco working with Armstrong Moorland employing different mystical methods trying to find some sign of the Knight or at the least an explanation of what had happened to him. They are able to determine that the explosion was caused by the interaction between the Knight's life energy based protective field and the necromantic energies of the Dissenter's force bubble. The initial implosion's force was powerful enough to consume both the Knight and the Dissenter with the secondary explosion scattering the remnants of the armor and weaponry.
