Wardens Fourth Edition
In the Court of Public Opinion - Downtime
A look at what happened after Session 30.
Area and Group Notes
After the Tribunal is over and the former members of Primfaktor leave things return to near normal. The only issues are the occasional protestor group at FSS Pier 12 or the boarding pier for the tourist launches to Alcatraz Island. The incident with Sturm Wacht and the attack on the Wardens' headquarters seems to have diminished the desire for protestors and even a lot tourists to visit the island itself. The drop in visitors to the island is similar to the one from the last time that there was a well publicized attack on the Wardens' facilities.
Blue Boy makes several more appearances in Oakland stopping several muggings and robberies.
Meeting with Security
Delta-Vee, Knight of Saint Michael
There is also a report of a break-in at Johan Doyle's office at San Mateo State University. A spindle of backup DVDs and a portable hard drive were taken and no other offices in the building were broke into. The security system for the building was neutralized prior to the break-in so there were no surveillance tapes of the incident. The security guard on duty reported no knowledge that anything was amiss until he made his 2:00 AM rounds and found the door to Doyle's office open.
There is a report from Oakland of an incident in which several boys on a school field trip to a pro baseball game were attacked by an unknown paranormal. All of the boys attacked suffered major injuries and where hospitalized at Alameda General Medical Center.
Karalyn Nicholas, a.k.a. Amethyst (II)
Amethyst spends a week relaxing at the North Bay estate. A much needed rest after all of the constant activities over the last few months. Her last few days at North Bay, she spends some time reviewing logs and catching up on all that has been going on outside of her immediate notice the past few months.
After returning to San Francisco, Karalyn receives an email from Dieter. It says that the people of Alta Verde are in her debt and have arranged a depository account with Banco Arellano de Chile in gratitude for her services. The email provides the account number and says that she can access it by visiting the bank's San Francisco branch and providing proper identification documents.
Randy McLeod, a.k.a. Delta-Vee
Randy is more than a little freaked out about regaining consciousness with pieces of a person's brain and blood all over him. He arranges to meet with Dr. Saveda to talk about the experience. They meet several times over the course of the next couple of weeks to discuss the issue.
Randy lets the kids know that the Mud Puppy's art doesn't bother him. He also talks to the kids about the importance of political commentary and satire in a democratic process. The art shows the hallmarks of artistic talent and Randy also tells the kids that he hopes that the Mud Puppy is working on developing his talent.
Delta-Vee After Action Report 1
Randy decides not to press any charges in regards to the graffiti and explains to Dr. Cho his feelings on the matter. Randy also lets Dr. Cho know that he will protest if the community center decides to press charges more significant than vandalism.
Randy contacts the Wardens technical staff to get a redesigned helmet and outfit. He wants it to still be sealed air tight but has no need to worry about keeping the air fresh as he needs just enough of an air mixture so that I can speak normally into the radio. They recommend a skin-tight compression suit with the breathing mixture only in the helmet which would be secured to the compression suits collar with hermetic seals. The tech staff says it would take about a month to put together such an outfit and helmet as well as ensure it fits properly and is not too restricting.
Judah Ambrose, a.k.a. Eon (Lazarus)
A Second Opinion
Meeting of Minds
The Long Walk From Home
The Good of the Many...
William Rouen, a.k.a. Knight of Saint Michael
The Knight's request to keep one of Krieger's combat blades is granted by the FSS. He examines it and finds the blade to be a very fine example of modern metalwork. The weapon has a very fine edge, is light but not too light and is balanced perfectly.
The Knight requests the other Wardens to submit after action reports from the encounter with Sturm Wacht. He receives one from Delta-Vee and a half after action report, half psych evaluation request from Eon.
William spends as much of his free time as he can with Bridie. When not with Bridie, William continues to spend a lot of time at Notre Dame des Victoires for confession, prayer and meditation. He continues to focus his prayers on his relationships and his teammates.
The Knight checks on Prime continue to find a more placid primate. He is spending less time in the lab and more time in his room reviewing files on paranormal criminals as well as using his etching laser to copy data to pennies. The frequency of Prime's excursions in the black car with government plates increases to almost daily with the furry orange scientist always returning to the base at the end of the day.
Continued research into the Orlando gang using hi-tech blaster weaponry nets the Knight no new information. The joint task force made up from personnel from local, federal and international law enforcement agencies seems to be bogged down in the bureaucratic morass of getting things up and running.
His busy schedule has kept the Knight from catching up with Amethyst to discuss the rogue Prime issue. He makes it a priority to speak with her about turning over the data on Prime activities and experiments from before he went rogue to Freddie Lawrence for analysis.
The Knight's weekly conference call with der Grüne Ritter yields little new data on the Grand Empire's activities in South America. They are still recruiting and training new personnel. They are still moving behind the scenes to establish or enhance their governmental contacts while avoiding getting caught by Orion and local law enforcement agencies.
