Hyde and Seek - Interludes

Interludes: 14

A look at what happened behind the scenes during and after Session 14.

Interlude 14.901

Game Date: 1/28/2005
Location: San Francisco, California

The sensor tech had missed his opportunity. The console readings showed that the three wielders had been active but they had been too far away from the station for the readings to show anything more than that. He did not like going outside but he knew to get the readings that would wake the Guardians from their slumber, he would have to get close to the wielders in action.

Interlude 14.902

Game Date: 2/1/2005
Location: San Francisco, California

The aide entered the High Lord's office. His lordship sat at his computer reviewing reports. The aide cleared his throat and the High Lord looked up from his screen.

"Your lordship, the salvaje has been captured by the Wardens."

"No matter, the others will arrive soon and against them the Wardens will fall."

Interlude 14.903

Game Date: 2/4/2005
Location: San Francisco, California

"Father," spoke the acolyte as he approached his master in the garden.

"What it is William?" said the kindly looking old man looking up from the book he had been reading.

"I had the dream again... about the dark times."

"Yes, William. The dark times will soon be upon us." Far sooner than I had hoped was the thought that the old man had not voiced.

"The knight... he will protect us, isn't that right, Father?"

"William, you know what is written in the destiny prophecy, 'The knight will end the struggles of his brothers' and so shall it be. If we just have faith."

"Yes, faith will preserve us."

The old man smile as the acolyte turned and left. I hope I have not failed you and the others the old man thought as he turned his thoughts back to his book.
