Interludes

Interlude 39.901

Game Date: 2/12/2007

The lieutenant entered the office of the doctor.

Von Hausser sat in his chair with his eyes closed. His skin wrinkled and pale, almost transparent. His hair matched the white of his wrinkled lab coat.

"Report," sounded the strong voice of the frail looking man.

The lieutenant cleared his throat and then spoke.

"We have a report from San Francisco," stated the young man as he sat the packet of information on the doctor's desk.

The doctor leaned forward in his chair. The report was off cycle, he thought, as he picked up the packet then motioned for the lieutenant to leave.

A disturbance at the center had revealed the existence of a number of paranormals. There were at least three positively identified and as many as eight total. The Wardens had responded to the incident and initiated contact with the three identified and one of the possible paranormals.

The doctor looked at the report and considered the possibility, eight young paranormals in the same location. He made a mental note to examine pheromonal or p-normal energy traces as attractive factors.

He continued reading the report. There were no observations or reports of Eon using his healing abilities on others since his change to the crystalline form.

The final report entry regarded the 'alien.'

The doctor picked up a glass and drank from it as he read.

The 'alien' flew in the air as well as underwater. This enhanced mobility had made it hard to keep up with him. Protocol One had not been completed because of these complications.

The doctor sat his glass down then leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes and spoke aloud.

"Report order... first observation, alpha exam protocol... second observation, continue as per previous... third observation, replace field agent and have new agent complete protocol one."

A mechanical voice answered, "As you have ordered, it has been done."

Interlude 39.902

Game Date: 2/14/2007

Kedmar had been captured; he had proved not to be any smarter than his father, Azedmar, was.

The Prince had decided to let the demonhound stay caged. It was not worth the risk to break him out and maybe he would learn to be less impetuous.

The matter of concern was the magecraft that had helped capture the beast. It warranted investigation.

Interlude 39.903

Game Date: 2/20/2007

The target had returned to New Orleans.

New Orleans had been Casjen's downfall; he would make sure that it would not be his.

Interlude 39.904

Game Date: 2/22/2007

It was like that doctor had said on TV, the alien's were invading and he was going to do something about it.

It had taken some work but his cousin in the Army knew someone, who knew someone, who knew someone down the chain who had access to armaments and he was now in possession of a .50 caliber sniper rifle.

He wasn't sure if the special ammo would hurt the alien but he was sure going to find out.
