She sat looking down at the nightlife below.
The new location was not ideal but it would do, she thought.
The big game hunting she had done, had caused the "good guys" to take too much interested in the first location she had chosen.
So the plan had been modified, something that he had not been too happy about, to take into account the new over watch location.
But, he had not even remotely considered scrubbing the mission and this was a good thing.

The stabsunteroffizier entered the Oberst's office and spoke, "Sir, here is the final mission report on Vogel Greif Drei."
The Oberst took the report and gave it a quick glance. The mission had been a failure, the first for a Vogel Grief team. The target had been stronger than expected and the unanticipated intervention of the Wardens had spoiled the execution of the standard attack plan.
"Have the staff assemble for a meeting. It is time to discuss some tactical changes and reassignment of personnel." ordered the Oberst.
"Yes Sir," replied the stabsunteroffizier before saluting and leaving the room.
The Oberst pondered the mission analysis report and shook his head. Escalation was inevitable, it was not only the nature of this conflict but also the nature of the enemy. They would not stop until total victory had been achieved, it was his mission to ensure that they did not achieve their objective.

The lieutenant entered the office of the doctor.
Von Hausser sat in his chair with his eyes closed. His skin wrinkled and pale almost transparent. His hair matched the white of his wrinkled lab coat.
"Report," sounded the strong voice of the frail looking man.
The lieutenant cleared his throat and then spoke.
"A matter of interest in San Francisco," said the lieutenant as he handed the doctor a dossier.
The old man quickly read through the report then looked up at the lieutenant.
"So, he may have been working with the good Doctor Johnson, very good... very good indeed. Keep me informed on any developments pertaining to this matter"
The doctor leaned back in his chair and motioned for the lieutenant to leave.
Yes, thought Von Hausser. The doctor's work may have not been lost.
