Battle Cry, Part II

Allyson Michelle (Blue Rose), Eve Smith (Shadow Tiger), Frank Flaherty (Silver Star), Dr. Arron Jenson (Volt), Horatio Eon, Juan Sanchez (Fuerte), Jonathan Chandler (Goshawk), Meghan Stewart (Osprey), Maxwell Boone (Falcon), Dina Wolman (Sparrowhawk).

Horatio calls a meeting to update everyone on the investigation of the attack on North Bay and the kidnapping of John Battle and Star's son. Each team member relates the findings of their investigations. Blue Rose tells everyone about the findings on the restraint foam used by the attackers and updates the team on the status of Star and Estrella. Shadow Tiger tells everyone about the truck being a dead end and the info she learned about the VTOL. Silver Star reports that he has been reviewing John's databases and suspects that a Dr Albrecht von Hausser is behind the attack and kidnapping. Volt tells everyone about his following up on how the attackers had so much info about the North Bay site. When he tells about finding the tap into the data connection between Alcatraz and North Bay, the group decides to start investigating this as the best lead from all of the ongoing investigations.

After some investigation, the data circuit that was tapped into the Wardens data connection between Alcatraz and North Bay is found to belong to Wright BioTech. Taking the Pegasus, Blue Rose, Shadow Tiger, Silver Star, Volt, Horatio Eon and Fuerte fly north to investigate the northern end of the circuit at the Wright BioTech headquarters in Oregon. While Osprey, Goshawk, Falcon and Sparrowhawk investigate the southern end of the circuit, a Wright BioTech research facility in South San Francisco.

After an initial reconnaissance of the Wright Biotech headquarters, the Pegasus lands at a small airport near the site and does some planning for a more through investigation of the facility. Volt does several flyovers, returns to the Pegasus' landing site and reports his observations.

Osprey calls in and reports to the group in Oregon that a utility shed with another data tap has been found near the Wright BioTech facility in South San Francisco. The data tap off of the Wright data circuit leads to the building next to the research facility. Shadow Tiger asks Osprey and her team to keep an eye on the suspect building while the Wardens return from Oregon. Blue Rose, Shadow Tiger, Silver Star, Horatio Eon and Fuerte board the Pegasus and head back to San Francisco. Volt flies ahead to inspect the data tap and means of neutralizing it without being detected.

When the rest of the Wardens arrive at the utility shed, Osprey reports that workmen have been loading crates into trucks. It appears that the suspect building is being evacuated. Horatio volunteers to follow one of the trucks to see where they are going. Volt reports that the circuit can be neutralized but not without alerting those inside the suspect building. It is decided that Shadow Tiger will enter the building and investigate while the Wardens and Osprey's team take a support position on the other side of the building away from the loading dock.

Shadow Tiger cloaks and enters the building through the loading dock. She spots a man dressed different from the others headed into the building and decides to follow him. He goes down a couple of hallways before entering a door. Shadow Tiger hears the door lock behind him. She goes up into the drop ceiling to see if she can get a look into the room where her quarry disappeared. Shadow Tiger finds that the room is rather narrow and is protected from entry through the ceiling by metal plating. She tests the metal and finds it beyond her ability to pierce. Shadow Tiger decides to call in the others.

She meets them in a large warehousing area of the building and leads them back to room where her quarry disappeared. Everyone readies for action and Fuerte forces the door open. They find a janitorial closet with no one in it. After some investigating, a hidden elevator is found inside a storage cabinet. A little more searching reveals the means to activate the elevator.

The group follows the elevator shaft down and finds a reception area lounge at the bottom. After a quick discussion the group fans out and investigates the underground facility. Silver Star and Volt find the computer room just in time to stop a technician from erasing the facility's data files. After, the workers have finished loading the trucks and left, the technician and the data files are taking back to the Wardens' headquarters.

Horatio follows the trucks and watches them being loaded on to a ship. He notes the ship's name and registry then returns to the Wardens' headquarters.
