About Allen

I sat down on my couch. Staring at the blank wall, I asked Whitney to activate my wall monitor and show me what he had found out about the crash that had killed Allen. It was a charter flight for my brother's baseball team and some parents. The plane was a Hawkins Aeronautics PC-12 and was flown by a husband and wife team named, Connor and Pam Raymond. Dad had to give a lecture and I had a gymnastics meet, so me, him and Mom were going to fly over to Japan with the rest of the parents a couple of days later. I remembered watching Allen get on the plane.

Whitney's voice brought me back to the here and now. "Ally, do you want an audio synopsis of the data?"

"Please, but can you make it brief."

"Based on your search parameters, there was no new data found regarding the crash other than what the authorities told you and your parents," Whitney said. "Only three bodies and very little of the wreckage of the aircraft were found. Your brother's body was not among the bodies that were recovered."

"I know and lately, I have had this strong vibe that Allen is still... alive?" I spoke aloud.

"Do you always leave you door open and who is Allen?" Horatio asked while waltzing into my living room.

"Oh... nobody..." I stuttered.

"A wall full of data for just nobody?" Horatio said sitting down next to me.

"Yeah, nobody." I said defiantly.

"Come on Ally, give." Horatio said.

"Whitney can you please bring up the picture I scanned on Tuesday." I said referring to the family picture taken just before the plane crash.

"Nice looking family." Horatio said.

"That was ten years ago. Allen was... is... oh, I don't know.... my twin brother. The authorities think that he was killed in a plane crash shortly after this picture was taken. They only found three bodies and very little wreckage from the crash. It was in the Pacific in very deep water."

"Oh... did Whitney tell you anything new?" Horatio asked.

"No just same thing the authorities told me." I replied.

"So, where are your parents?" Horatio asked

"They died about two years ago." I whispered.

I got up and started walking toward my bedroom.

"Wait," Horatio called after me.

"What?" I shouted as I spun around and glared at Horatio. "I would rather not talk about them or much at all about what has happened since they died" I continued.

The silence was broken by Silver Star's voice on the intercom calling everyone to the conference room immediately.

"I hope that this is not the end of this conversation." Horatio said to me as we ran to the conference room together.
