Trip to North Bay

I went to my room and packed my clothes. I grabbed my journal to write in on the way to North Bay and the medical book that Dr. Miller had let me borrow to learn more to help her. Eve seems to have a thing for Tom Sawyer, I thought to myself.

I decided to sit up front in the Pegasus with the pilot Jordan Anixter.

"Hi, Ally." Jordan said.

"Hello, Jordan. How is the weather looking?' I asked.

"Looks perfect. Here comes Eve and Tom." Jordan said as he pointed to the two who were walking very close to each other.

I thought to myself, what happiness that would be to maybe have a romantic moment. Horatio is so bothered by the problems with the VTOL and gloop, being his father's designs that he has no idea that I have feelings for him.

"Ally?" Jordan called.

"Yes."

"Time to buckle up. We will be taking off shortly." He said as he headed out of the cockpit to let Eve and Tom know that we were leaving for North Bay.

"Hey, Jordan. Do you know if Horatio is going to North Bay?" I asked.

"Not sure. He and Volt are working in Nevada on the Gryphon." Jordan answered.

"Thanks." I answered.

The rest of the trip I spent time writing in my journal and studying the medical book that I had brought with me.

We arrived at North Bay and Thunder was waiting to meet us. I grabbed my things and headed for the main house and dropped them off in the kitchen. Then, Eve and I went in search of Mariah and the baby. Carmen, Mariah's mother, answered the door to the master quarters and led us Mariah and the baby on patio. Mariah passed the baby to Eve when she asked to hold him. Eve looked very motherly holding baby Juan Randall.

Afterwards, I went to visit with Gisela. She spoke of her loneliness since Carmen had come up to help out with Juan Randall.

I told her of my brother, Allen, and my feeling that he might be still alive. She said she remembered hearing something about the plane crash and the boys' baseball team onboard. Gisela suggested that I have Whitney look up all the info on the crash, which I did later that night.
