Unfinished Business

Warders' Team Members: Allyson Michelle (Blue Rose), Chris Hamilton (Brasidas), Eve Smith (Shadow Tiger), Frank Flaherty (Silver Star), Horatio Eon, Marina Forlon (Dawn), Tom Sawyer (Impulse), Whitney

Guests: Maria Onoronto (Ocelot), Elba Alonzo (Pantera), Miguel Jimenez (Puma), Christian Vazquez (Tigre), Eldon Walker Sawyer (Shockwave)

It had been a long two months with little to do but train and wait, everyone was getting a bit restless when Whitney called a meeting to discuss the developments in the search for the Kronians.

Ally, Chris, Eve, Frank, Horatio, Marina and Tom go to the conference room at the Northstar facility to meet with Whitney. At the meeting, Whitney announces that a pattern of activity has been identified after analysis of the latest sensor data. It points to a small valley northeast of Fairfield. Property records show a summer camp with a small lake in the area identified by the analysis.

The group decides to investigate the area for signs of the Kronians. Chris points out that it would be a feather in the caps of the "new" Wardens to bring in the Kronians. After a quick discussion the team decides to call in the Wardens, if the Kronians are found at the site.

Horatio Eon, Dawn and Impulse take the lead in the flying wedge formation with Blue Rose, Silver Star, Brasidas and Shadow Tiger in the second rank. The trip is uneventful and the team lands on the far side of a hill opposite the camp in the valley below.

After creeping to the top of the hill, they look down on the camp below. The camp appears to be abandoned with no signs of activity. Since the lake is big enough to hide the Kronian chronal cruiser, Brasidas asks Blue Rose to check out the lake. Shadow Tiger grabs Blue Rose and goes into "covert" mode. Blue Rose carrying Shadow Tiger leaps off the side of the hill and glides down to the valley floor below. Shadow Tiger walks Blue Rose to the side of the lake and then lets her slip unobserved into the water. Shadow Tiger then slips back into cover at the edge of the lake while Blue Rose checks out the underwater landscape. She soon locates the Kronian ship and relays her findings to the others.

Everyone joins up with Shadow Tiger and starts to make their way around the lake toward the camp. Silver Star and Shadow Tiger are chosen to investigate the camp "covertly" while Blue Rose, Brasidas, Horatio Eon, Dawn and Impulse take up support positions. The reconnaissance of the camp finds no signs of inhabitants but does locate a maintenance shed with a tunnel that goes toward the Kronian ship hidden in the lake.

After Silver Star and Shadow Tiger return to the group and report their findings, the group decides to call in the Wardens to help round up the Kronians. While they are en route, Brasidas and Silver Star with "covert" support from Shadow Tiger and Blue Rose approach the camp and attempt to negotiate with the Kronians. Horatio Eon, Dawn and Impulse are given the task of stopping the Kronian ship, if it attempts to take off. The negotiation team enters the tunnel under the maintenance shed and Brasidas calls out to the Kronian ship several times, each time with out answer. Silver Star raps on the tunnel wall while Blue Rose pounds it to give the impression that Silver Star with little effort makes the tunnel walls ring out loudly. There is still no reply from the Kronian ship. Shadow Tiger and Blue Rose "covertly" walk down the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, they find a door that Blue Rose says is not made of the same material as the Kronian ship. Blue Rose forces the door open and finds an area that appears to be an airlock leading to the Kronian ship's entry door. Shadow Tiger identifies a humming noise coming from the ship. When the hum from the ship starts to intensify, Blue Rose pounds the ship's door leaving a large dent in it. The resulting sonic resonance dazes Shadow Tiger. The ship separates from the airlock flooding the tunnel. Blue Rose grabs the dazed Shadow Tiger while Silver Star and Brasidas retreat back into the maintenance shed.

Ocelot, Pantera, Puma, Tigre, and Shockwave of the Wardens arrive on the scene just as the Kronian ship breaks the surface of the water. Impulse asks Shockwave to help stop the Kronian ship and tells the others where to find Brasidas, Silver Star, Blue Rose and Shadow Tiger.

Ocelot, Pantera, Puma and Tigre head for the maintenance shed to help Brasidas and Silver Star. On the way there, they are attacked by four Kronian fire teams. Brasidas and Silver Star exit the maintenance shed and rush to the aide of the ground bound Wardens.

Blue Rose swims to the shore with Shadow Tiger in tow. When they see the others under attack by the Kronians, Blue Rose and Shadow Tiger rush to their aid.

Impulse, Dawn and Shockwave fire at the Kronian ship with little effect. Horatio Eon flies up in front of the Kronian ship and fires his neutralizer beam. The Kronian ship flounders in the air and then crashes into the side of the valley.

In less than a minute, the ground based Warders and Wardens neutralize and capture the twenty Kronian agents.

After a quick examination of the Kronian ship determines that it is a mixture of Eon technology and another highly advanced technology of unknown origin, the Warders decide that the ship will not be turned over to the FSS.

The two groups decide to turn the captured agents over to the FSS to eliminate the logistics nightmare of keeping them under guard at the camp. The decision is based on the fact that the captured Kronians are fanatics and will probably not talk to the FSS. If they do, only Mr. Gray and Shadow Tiger can act as translators for the FSS, so information pertaining to the ship can be creatively interpreted for FSS consumption.

The Wardens return to San Francisco with the captured Kronians while the Warders set about the task of moving the damaged Kronian ship to the Northstar facility in Nevada.
