Horatio Eon

Horatio Eon is from a parallel earth where almost all forms of standard technology are approximately 30 to 40 years more advanced than the standard technology of Chronicle Earth.

Horatio Eon was born on January 16, 1971 in San Genero City to Holden Eon and Priscilla Algerro. Holden was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eon Enterprises. Priscilla was a minor bureaucrat in the San Genero state government.

Horatio grew up in the lap of luxury but he was not spoiled. His parents hired the best instructors to educate him. They insisted that the coursework be demanding with focus on practical skills and sciences. Horatio was an average student. Horatio took martial arts as a physical outlet and to develop the mental discipline his parent's desired. Horatio loved the physical aspects of the sport and competed in several competitions.

When he came of age, Horatio went to work at Eon Enterprises as a research assistant to his father. Horatio found the job unfulfilling and soon talked his father into letting him work for corporate security. Holden ordered the chief of security to be hard on Horatio and not to give him any special treatment. Horatio loved his security job. He even started spending time in his father's laboratory working on enhancements for equipment and new equipment designs for the security force. When the chief of security retired, Horatio was made head of security for Eon Enterprises. Horatio with his father's assistance developed his encounter suit as well as a special vehicle for his use as security chief.

When the main research laboratories for Eon Enterprises was attacked Horatio responded along with Vandmar Garrett, a law enforcement agent who was touring the facility. Bergen Herth, wearing new prototype battle armor christened Falconer, caused an explosion in one of the cyclotron labs creating a dimensional rift. Bergen, Vandmar and Horatio were transported to this dimension. Bergen suspecting some kind of trick continued attacking Vandmar and Horatio. The original Wardens responded to the crisis and captured Bergen and the Falconer armor. Horatio and Vandmar were invited to stay at the Wardens headquarters until a means to get them back to their world was found.

When Vandmar along with the original Wardens disappeared while investigating the phantom castle, Horatio was invited by John Battle to become a member of the Wardens. Horatio taking the example of Valeria Peralta-Gold, another resident of his dimension stranded in this dimension and a member of Goldstar, accepted the invitation.

Horatio has recently discovered that someone is selling his father's inventions to criminal paranormals and organizations. He has vowed to find whoever is behind this and stop them from using his father's inventions for criminal purposes.

Horatio Eon's most recent adventures as a member of the Wardens are chronicled in the Wardens Chronicles. He left the Wardens on July 21, 2002 to take on a new mission with the Warders.
